East of Owensboro and I found the perfect spot to weather a thunderstorm. I’m on a creek near a bunch of barge equipment. phone is low and power pack dead, so I may try to hitchhike into town and juice up and eat a meal. If not, you wont hear from me until tomorrow.

You are truly trying to kill our grandmother, aren’t you? I saw an episode of some survival show (Bear Giles?) and he stepped in quick sand and sank to his waist. He said he could feel bloated bodies of dead animals under his feet! That image has never left my head…. Now you just brought it back. Hope you didn’t feel anything gross (besides mud)!
