Yea, and I do all of my own stunts too.
Put up my 50ish miles and sometime around 830am did my 1000th mile. Pretty cool I guess, but the only one I care about is mile 1240.
Things are coming together nicely for an estimated Sunday arrival in Nola. I will be staying with my most gracious host/ess, Jeremy and Whitney. Its weird to say that Ive known Jeremy for 8 years now, meeting him on the freshman dorm floor way back in August 06. Time is certainly movin!
But aside from my host/ess, I will also have some other friends in town. My buddy Marc from my IU Auditorium days is in town at a conference–and of course my boyz Kyle/Chris/Ivan(maybe) are driving in from ATX and we’re gonna have a little road trip out west to put some icing on this cake.
Road trip vehicle. So pumped.
Needless to say, I have a lot to look forward to. I’m 200 miles away and plan to paddle all 5 days into NO instead of stopping for a day in BR. If circumstamces were different I’d take my time…but I’m all too certain weather is going to hinder me as well as the traffic between BR and NO.

What will you do with your kayak? I was hoping you were going to meet someone. It would be pretty anticlimactic to end your trip with no one to say YAY!!! I can imagine that it’s going to feel kind of weird being off the water after having been on it for so long. I for one will be glad when it’s over…….although, you may want to keep writing in this journal. I’ve gotten used to nearing from you every day. I rather like that!

i am going to try to sell it while Im here over the next few days. I cant see me needing a sea kayak that large anytime soon. I am glad I will have so manu friends here to share it with…certainly will be a memorable time. And the blog…idk what i will do with it. It was originally just so I could update everyone that I was safe…so Id have to think what to write about
