Good day on the water after some rest.
I probably put up 25-30 today…but I really try to not focus on the numbers. Im used to bicycle touring getting 75-80 in a day, so am never happy if I pay too close attention.
Went through the Cannelton Lock like a pro. They didnt even have to shout at me over the intercom. I just LOCKED IT DOWN.
Anyway, also had a monster burger in Cannelton. If you’re ever cruising through check out the Water Front Grille and order the Bubba Burger. Burger, pulled pork, and bacon on a kaiser bun. You’ll leave pleased. Sleeping under a bridge tonight in Hawesville, KY. Trolling, you might say.

Bubs new burger is a burger with breakfast on top. Ham, bacon, and a fried egg. That’s right, soft yoke. And I just had an inferno tonight. Also I had a home cooked Webber burger last night. Glad to see you’re keeping the meat flowing.

I spent the day in the water as well on a 37 ft Chris Craft Cabin cruiser with two rooms bathroom toilet and dining room. Was thinking of you all day! Hope all is well. Hope to get a call this week! Love you! Proud of you son!

Wow! sounds like you had a nice day. sailboating (with toilets) sounds pretty damn cool and we may have to take it up finally next time I’m down.

I think it’s a good idea to not pay too close attention to the numbers (as you were). No need to rush it and get an injury as you said in an earlier post. On another note, What do you do with your Kayak when you go inland to eat/drink and stuff?

i just try to find a secluded spot where i can lock it up with my bike lock (loop it around the hard plastic seat). Every time i leave it alone though is for a period of several hours, so Im constantly worried about it being stolen when away.
