Spent the day with my pops and sis in Louisville. They’re dropping me off tomorrow at Falls of the Ohio and I will begin my journey there.

I know I mentioned it before, but the seed from this trip started a few years back while talking with my dad about Lewis and Clark. They started here, in Louisville…so starting there is kind of a nerd homage to L&C exploring the Louisiana territory.

But the day was great. Living so close to Louisville, its hard to believe that I’ve never come down and visited the city. We walked the riverfront, saw a dude kayaking upstream. After walking for a bit down to 4th street we went to a baseball game (Indianapolis Indians v Louisville Bats). Dont know who won because we left during the stretch to grab some pizza from Wick’s, a pretty happening spot near U of L.

Now we’re all sitting in the hotel room getting some rest before the big day.  I’m ready to get on the water and start walking to match all this talking I’ve been doing.
