First let me acknowledge that the last post was 2 months ago. I apologize–it won’t happen again. From here on my days are going to be more interesting, so I’ll be more apt to share.

Yesterday was my last day in Bloomington and I finished cleaning my house and having everything moved out 15 minutes before the move-out inspection…J.I.T. The reason I was so close was a mixture of prepping for the trip, procrastination, and the absolutely wonderful send off that I had from so many great people.

My last month in town was some of the best times I had ever had in Bloomington, which means some of the best times in my life. Whiskey on the porch, darts at The Vid/Upstairs, bikes all around town (obviously), nights out here or there, giving tours of the bus, campfires, hiking, caving, shooting, and of course kayaking. Just about everyday was spent with friends…new and old, as we made the most of such a beautiful early summer.

Thank you everyone for the love and support that you’ve given me. I truly feel like I’m leaving my hometown–even though I’ve only been in Btown since January 2009.

I hope to see you all again in the near future (will swing through in Aug/Sep), after I have a few drinks to celebrate my trip in New Orleans.

I leave it all behind for this: my mobile home, inside of my old Bloomington home.
